Invermere’s Ryan Tameline ranked by NHL scouts

Fifty-seven Western Hockey League (WHL) players have been listed by NHL Central Scouting in its Final Rankings ahead of the 2024 NHL Draft, the WHL confirmed April 16.

And Invermere’s Ryan Tamelin has made the list as the 29th ranked goaltender in North America.

The 6’8” netminder compiled a 13-4-0 record with the CSSHL’s Okanagan HA U18 Prep squad this season, with a 2.82 GAA and .913 SP. He also played one game with Victoria Royals this past WHL season.

Seven WHL skaters are listed within the top 20 North American skaters, including Lindstrom, Berkly Catton (Spokane Chiefs), Tij Iginla (Kelowna Rockets), Carter Yakemchuk (Calgary Hitmen), Terik Parascak (Prince George Cougars), Julius Miettinen (Everett Silvertips) and Ryder Ritchie (Prince Albert Raiders).

Four WHL netminders ranked in the top 10 North American Goaltenders- Lukas Matecha (Tri-City-Americans), Dawson Cowan (Spokane Chiefs), Evan Gardner (Saskatoon Blades) and Chase Wutzke (Red Deer Rebels).
