The Kootenay Home Ed Conference is coming to Cranbrook on May 25.
Home learning families from around the Kootenays will gather for the day on Saturday, May 25 to connect, learn and be encouraged.
Home learning is on the rise with so many amazing options for families. We want to provide a place for families to meet each other, learn some new strategies and make some amazing connections.
Our keynote speaker is Bonnie Landry, a homeschooling mom of seven kids, from Vancouver Island. We will have a number of different distributed learning schools and community organizations on site for the day so families can meet staff and ask questions. We have a fun line up of EDtalks covering a variety of topics like: world-schooling, homesteading, homeschooling on a budget, micro schools and inclusive (special) Ed.
