Funds raised support the Cranbrook Women’s Resource Centre
Join The Hair Mob on Saturday, June 4, between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to celebrate their grand opening and help them raise funds for the Cranbrook Women’s Resource Centre.
Meet the talented stylists who are on the cutting-edge of hair trends and techniques, and shake the hands of local men who will be at the event to ‘Walk a Mile in Her Shoes.’ Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is an international men’s march to stop rape, sexual assault and gender violence.
“We have been overwhelmed with support from our community and enthusiastically invite everyone down to our grand opening to share in the food and fun,” said Misty Nabess, manager of The Hair Mob. “We look forward to serving our clients with the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. Our focus is on quality products, exceptional customer service, fair pricing, and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our stylists are knowledgeable, experienced, and up-to-date on the hottest hair styles and practices.”
The Hair Mob’s grand opening features Chef Steven Lechmann from COTR’s professional cook training program. Chef Lechmann will be on location grilling gourmet barbecued burgers with all the fixings, as well as smokies and hot dogs, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Chips and beverages will also available to complete the mouth-watering fire-grilled lunch, which can be purchased with a minimum donation of $5.
The Hair Mob will also be hosting a raffle with three amazing prizes up for grabs:
– 1st Prize: Cut and colour with your favourite stylist and one year supply of Redken hair product. $500 value.
– 2nd Prize: Cut and colour with your choice of stylist. $150 value.
– 3rd Prize: Cut with your choice of stylist. $50 value.
All proceeds from BBQ and raffle will be support of the Cranbrook Women’s Resource Centre.
“We are committed to our community and plan to take an active and ongoing role in giving back to the place we all call home,” said Nabess. “The Hair Mob is excited to be partnering with the Women’s Resource Centre for our grand opening event, and is proud to offer a 20% discount to seniors on the last Thursday and Friday of each month.”
The Hair Mob is a full-service professional salon that specializes in cuts, colours, and waxing. It is also home to Angelic Touch Nail Enhancements. The Hair Mob stylists are available by appointment, as well as for walk-ins, and offer high-end group salon packages that caters exclusively to bridal or wedding parties for one reasonable rate.
