Celebrate ‘Bat Week’ with Kootenay Community Bat Project biologist Leigh Anne Isaac on Friday, Oct. 27 at the Lion’s Club Hall south of the Invermere crossroads.

With support from the Lake Windermere District Rod & Gun Club and the Columbia Valley Local Conservation Fund, Leigh Anne will share her knowledge about these interesting and often misunderstood nocturnal animals.

Leigh Anne will lead an engaging discussion of bat ecology, White Nose Syndrome and what you can do to conserve our Columbia Valley bats.

Here talk will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. There is no admission.
