Cranbrook skaters excel at West Kootenay Invitational
The Cranbrook Skating Club participated in the West Kootenay Invitational Competition November 30 to December 3 in Beaver Valley.
The West Kootenay Invitational Competition allows skaters to accumulate points to earn a position on the Kootenay Region team, which competes in Kelowna at the Skate Canada Super Series Competition in March as well as awards the opportunity to take part in the BC Development Camp, which also takes place in Kelowna each spring.
We are extremely proud of our skaters who were well prepared and their hard work paid off with exceptional results. We would also like to thank our Head Coach Daniela Hewison as well as Lori Stolson and Amber Flannigan who coach our Star Skaters and have them in tip-top shape for competition.
