UPDATE: The scene has been cleared and both lanes are open.

Traffic is still single lane alternating on Highway 3/93, just west of the Highway 93 junction this afternoon as efforts continue to remove a semi-trailer, which crashed earlier this morning (Jan. 18).

Conditions on highways throughout the East Kootenay are wintery and all over the place; from bare to wet to slushy to icy to black ice – so please drive carefully and according to conditions.
