SunMine sale referendum Oct. 20
Open house Monday at 7 p.m.
City of Kimberley voters have a referendum question to consider in the upcoming municipal election.
On General Voting Day, October 20, the following question will be submitted to the electors for assent voting (referendum): “Are you in favour of the City of Kimberley selling the assets of SunMine to Teck Metals Limited for fair market value? Yes or No.”
Do you have questions about SunMine or need more information before casting your vote?
The city is hosting an informational session on Monday, October 1 at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall. There will be a PowerPoint presentation followed by a question and answer period.
