John Hudak wins open council seat
The unofficial results have been announced for the City of Cranbrook 2019 Municipal By-Election.
A total of 2,425 ballots were cast and candidate John Hudak has won the vacant council seat with 1,115 votes.
Below are the ‘preliminary’ results of the City of Cranbrook 2019 municipal by-election of Saturday May 11. Office of Councillor (One position)
HUDAK, John – (1,115)
MILES, Ron – (518)
FIORENTINO, Jordan – (428)
TAPP, Randy (302)
McKERROW, William (62).
The declaration of the ‘official’ election results must be done by the Chief Election Officer by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15 in Council Chambers at Cranbrook City Hall.
