Chamber ED appointed to BC Chamber Executives Board
Kristin Parsons, Executive Director of the Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce, has recently been elected as a Director to the board of the BC Chamber Executives for the term of 2019-2021.
The election was held during the recent BC Chamber Executives conference in Burnaby, May 19-21.
“I am truly honoured to have been asked to step up to take this role to represent my colleagues in the chamber network around the province,” Parsons said.
The British Columbia Chamber Executives Society offers education, resources, and networking support among managers of Chambers of Commerce and Boards of Trade in British Columbia. The BCCE provides a network, which acts as mentor, teacher and confidante, for sharing resources and information around managing our Chambers and Boards of Trade across British Columbia.
“We are proud to support Kristin in her role with the provincial level Chamber Executive organization, as we feel this will directly impact our members with Cranbrook being represented on a provincial level,” Added Jason Fast, Chamber President.
