Kootenay Orchards Elementary School students, staff and families Dec. 11 raised 907 pounds of food and $105 for the Cranbrook Food Bank, part of the third annual Jingle Bell Walk.

On the night of Dec. 12, students sang Christmas carols on a float touring around the Kootenay Orchards area.

And then on the morning of Friday, Dec. 13 the students walked around the area to collect food donations.

“We would love to thank the Kootenay Orchards neighbourhood for their continued support,” said school event organizer Anneli Schadeli.
