If you would like to include a delicious take-out dinner in your gala experience, please have a look at The Heid Out’s online menu at https://www.theheidout.ca/, and give them a call at 250-426-7922 OR 250-919-8641 to order your dinner.

What to expect

Please keep your camera on during the event, as it’s fun to see everybody who is participating.

For most of the broadcast, we will have everyone’s microphones muted, other than the presenters, just to avoid any background noise.

The chat function will be on, which is a fun way to connect with other local participants.

We will be spotlighting our local presenters, when it’s each person’s turn to present. Please leave your Zoom view in the spotlight mode (i.e. rather than gallery) so that we can all focus on the presenter.

Show us your red carpet attire by using the hashtags #StayHomeRedCarpet AND #CBKStayAtHomeGala. We want to see everyone dressed in their finest, as well as their comfy slippers!

“Thanks to your generous support, so far, we have raised $5059.70 to support local non-profits on the front lines of COVID-19. Together, let’s reach our goal of $10,000 by continuing to spread the word with a like or share,” stated Community Foundation of the Kootenay Rockies executive director Lynnette Wray.

It’s important to organizers that you enjoy the event, but if you have any trouble setting up Zoom, please reach out to us at [email protected].
