The City of Cranbrook’s annual water main flushing operations will be moving to the area of Cranbrook east of Victoria Avenue South with work expected to occur over several days.

Customers impacted will live in the area from 20th Avenue South to 27th Avenue South between 2nd Street South and 7th Street South (see map below).

If you experience discolouration in the water for a short period while this flushing work is done. If you do have discolouration, please run your cold water tap until the water runs clear. This discolouration is not a public health concern.

The annual flushing program is done each year to ensure water mains are clear of sediment to provide the best water quality possible to your home and business. The city will provide updates regularly, so you know where the flushing program is moving to next.
