CFES extinguish fire west of Cranbrook
Cranbrook Fire and Emergency Services’ B Shift actioned a small fire in the recently logged lands west of the city yesterday afternoon.
Firefighters report winds quickly caused an abandoned campfire to move into the surrounding area.
Four apparatus and five firefighters extinguished the fire. No homes were threatened.
