The PGA of BC proudly named the provincial recipients of its annual honours for 2022 during the Association’s Awards Celebration on Oct. 12 at the River Rock Casino Resort.

Two East Kootenay golf professionals took part in the festivities.

Bradley Gagnon of The Springs at Radium received the Jock McKinnon Apprentice Professional of the Year award.

And Cindy Soukoroff of St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino was presented the Davie Black Professional Development Award.

See the other recipients announced for the 11 awards presented during the course of the evening’s festivities.

As well, the Awards Celebration featured a special presentation from the ALS Society of British Columbia, honouring the efforts of PGA of BC Professionals who participated in this year’s Golfathon for ALS across the province.

In 2022, the initiative raised $228,500, bringing the 17-year cumulative total to over $2.5 million raised to support individuals and families affected by ALS.
