Highway 3/95 re-opened to controlled traffic west of Cranbrook
UPDATE:
Highway 3/95 is now open to single-lane alternating traffic 10 km west of Cranbrook following a motor vehicle incident earlier this afternoon.

Cranbrook RCMP and Mainroad East Kootenay are alerting the public to a highway closure on Highway 3/95 and delays on Highway 3 east of Fernie this afternoon (Dec. 14).
Police are advising that Highway 3/95 is closed at Mills Road west of Cranbrook due to a motor vehicle incident.
There is no estimated time of opening. Please avoid the area.
And Mainroad passed along a DriveBC notice that Highway 3 was closed at Caldwell Road (six km east of Fernie) due to a vehicle incident.
The highway is now open to single-lane alternating traffic.
Please drive with extreme caution as road conditions are hazardous across the entire region.
