Village of Canal Flats voters are heading to the polls Saturday, Sept. 14 to fill two council seats vacated within a few weeks earlier this year.

Sylvie Hoobanoff, Chief Election Officer for the Village of Canal Flats August 9 declared, pursuant to Section 97 of the Local Government Act, the following persons as candidates in the 2024 Local By-election: Paul Marcil, Mark Topliff, Denise Trepanier and Andrew Weitzel.

The byelection was made necessary earlier this year when Coun. Jennifer Noble resigned her seat, followed a few weeks later by Coun. Anora Kobza.
