Morrissey boat launch closed Sept. 9-13
For anyone planning trips down the Elk River this September, please be aware that there will be construction limiting access to the Morrissey boat launch.
The access will be fully CLOSED between Sept. 9-13, and construction will limit access between Sept 2-8 and Sept 14-15.
This is part of the work of Tourism Fernie to improve the access site, including a full launch and informational kiosk.
Keep an eye out for some new interpretive signage at this site after the construction is finished!
