Zone 7 swimmers excel at BC 55+ Games
Two Zone 7 swimmers recently participated in the BC 55+ Games in Salmon Arm.
Cheryl Place (pictured above) (75-79f), of Boswell, received a bronze medal in the 400m Freestyle race. She also competed in 50m and 100m backstroke, 800m and 100m freestyle.
Chris Bissonette (pictured above) (65-69m), of Elkford, received gold medals in: 100m backstroke, 100m breaststroke, and 100m medley (all strokes). He received silver medals in: 25m butterfly, 50m backstroke, and 50m breaststroke.
Next year’s games are in Nanaimo., September 9-13, 2025.
