Area A town hall and volunteer celebration Nov. 4
Just a quick reminder that the Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Electoral Area A Town Hall Meeting and Volunteer of the Year celebration is quickly approaching.
Join us Monday, November 4 at 7 p.m. in the Trinity Room at the Best Western in Fernie as we honour Area A Volunteer of the Year Terry Horton.
Immediately following the Volunteer of the Year presentation, we will move into the Town Hall Meeting starting with a report from Electoral Area A Director Thomas McDonald.
There will also be presentations on the Elk Valley Official Community Plan, Emergency Preparedness, and the Five-Year Financial Plan (including what your Area A taxes pay for).
The evening will wind up with an opportunity for questions from those in attendance.
