The west arm of the intersection of 3rd Avenue South and 4th Street South will be closed to all traffic on Thursday, November 7, for most of the day.

Gally Equipment will be working to replace a water service valve to a residence, which will close access to and from 4th Street South. Residences along 3rd Avenue South between 3rd Street South and 5th Street South, with a handful of residents along 4th Street South and Wattsville Road, will be without water between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on November 7, until the replacement is complete.

This work is not expected to impact water service at TM Roberts School.

Those residences who will be without water are asked to please fill water storage containers to use while this work is completed. Every effort will be made to restore water service as soon as possible. Once water service is restored, affected residents may notice some dirty water as the water lines are recharged.

Please run your cold water tap for a short time until your water runs clear Please be aware of equipment and personnel working in the area. Please obey any signage or directions from staff working in the area.
