Fog advisory for South Country
Environment Canada has this morning (Dec. 2) issued a Fog Advisory for the Cranbrook, Kimberley and South Country areas of the East Kootenay.
Near zero visibility from fog is expected or occurring in the south East Kootenay.
“Patches of dense fog have formed and are expected to linger until around midmorning when the fog is expected to dissipate. Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero,” Environment Canada stated.
If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for taillights ahead and be prepared to stop.
Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
