Fatal motor vehicle collision on Highway 95A
On Sunday, December 22, a two-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 95A near the Wycliffe Four Corners.
A northbound pickup truck lost control and struck a southbound car which resulted in the death of the 64-year-old driver.
Road conditions are believed to have played a role as the roads were extremely icy at the time of the collision. No alcohol or drugs are believed to be factors in this collision.
“Kimberley RCMP does not believe there was any criminality involved and the family is receiving support through Victim Services,” reported Sgt. Steven Woodcox, Kimberley RCMP Detachment commander.
