The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Board of Directors meet 12 times a year, conducting regional government business.

All meetings are held on Friday mornings, with committee meetings held before on Thursday afternoons and evenings, at the RDEK Cranbrook office at 19-24th Avenue South (beside the hospital).
