Medichair Customer Appreciation donates to EKFH
Dana Tippe, owner of Medichair Kootenay Boundary, presents East Kootenay Foundation for Health (Donna Grainger, Executive Director) with a gift of $407 from its healthy lunch sales at its recent Medichair Customer Appreciation Day.
The gift is designated to general fund allowing the EKFH Board of Directors to release the funds as and when needed either for the area of greatest need or for smaller specific equipment or patient comfort requests.
Medichair Kootenay Boundary has been involved with EKFH for over the past decade providing medical equipment, patient comforts and assisting in appraisals for individuals and families who wish to leave a legacy of their loved one through donations of previously purchased wheelchairs, walkers and/or broda chairs to the Kimberley Special Care or Dr. F. W. Green Homes.
EKFH and Medichair Kootenay Boundary together making a difference in health care in the East Kootenay.
