Pet Pictures with Santa at Top Crop Garden, Farm & Pet was a great success with pet companions of all shapes and sizes flocking in to get their picture taken with Santa ‘Paws.’ There were lots of dogs, some brave cats and also a few more unusual animals, such as Michelangelo the turtle, Lydia the mule as well as Snickers and Daisy the baby goats. The event is the store’s largest annual fundraiser for the East Kootenay SPCA, with all proceeds going to the shelter, and 2011 marked the 11th year. If you missed the picture opportunity, you get another chance this Saturday, Dec. 3, as Santa has agreed to stop by Top Crop Too on Warren Avenue in Kimberley between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. for pictures.
