July in the East Kootenay
Hands up if you were one of the people who swore at the heat in July.
I was.
It sure was a scorcher and awesome if you have air conditioning or could escape to your favourite lake, creek or river.
Hopefully you didnāt have great raging campfires if you did get out to our glorious wilderness getaway locations, as along with the heat wave came the wildfires.
Luckily, only a few large fires are burning in our region as we push into August.
Our photo collection is puny for July because we simply couldnāt get out enough. Between the ever-busier nature of e-KNOW and because we have been renovating and moving for the past 244 years (three plus months), our cameras have been getting more rest than ever before.
Still, with the calming of chaos come the bright rays of a new day and all the following dances of the muses.
Boosting the sound for the muses is the fact we are taking our honeymoon a year after getting married.
Our cameras, if they were sentient beings, would be sticky from dread at the thought!
