City of Kimberley Mayor Ron McRae is taking aim at a second straight term but he will have to get by first-term Coun. Don McCormick and Doug A. Johnson, who also filed nomination papers by the Oct. 10 deadline.

Four current city councilors, are seeking re-election Nov. 15, including Kent Goodwin, Albert Hoglund, Bev Middlebrook and Darryl Oakley. Also running for the six council seats are former councillor Brent Bush and first-time candidates Darren Close, Nigel Kitto and Sandra Roberts.
