Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Fire Services – South Country is hosting an event to help support The Long Way Home walk for PTSD Awareness.

This Thursday (June 18), Kate MacEachern will be walking into Jaffray and we have a special event planned to greet her.

Starting at 6:30 p.m. we will have The Four Ever Quartet from IDEAL performing a selection of Classical and Folk music. Following the musical presentation there will be a hamburger barbecue prepared by the Sand Creek Lions.

After the dinner is completed Kate will speak about PTSD and her journey to raise money for this cause. Also throughout the evening we have several items up for raffle to help raise money for her cause.

Some of those items are Dean Brody concert tickets, Dean Brody signed memorabilia, golf passes and much, much more. Come on out and help support her cause and take part in what will be a wonderful community event.

Admission is $8 this includes the evening entertainment, and a barbecued hamburger with drink.
