Diane and Ken were married in Canal Flats in 1966.  They moved around following Ken’s work and finally settled in Cranbrook in 1974.

Diane loved children and fostered many children from newborns to teenagers.  Her home and family were her world.  Diane was always there for friends and family if they were in need of a shoulder to lean on or a place to live.

Diane was associated with the restaurant business for many years and operated a small restaurant on Baker Street for a period of time.  The restaurant association ended when the first grandchild was born.  Diane adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Diane was predeceased by her parents Calvin and Phyllis Lake.  Diane leaves behind her husband Ken, sons Mark and Lee, four grandchildren, Zak, Brittany, Neveah and Jayden and two great grandchildren Lexie and Hallie.

A celebration of life will be held later this year when the current restrictions on gatherings are lifted.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
