MAY 17, 1935 – JANUARY 20, 2020
Morley Clifford Baker of Kimberley B.C. passed away at EK Regional hospital on January 20, 2020 at the age of 84.
Morley has gone to join the love of his life Elly who passed away January 5, 2013. They are forever together once again.
Morley is survived by his 4 loving children. His daughters, Linda (Byron), Sherry (Don). Sons, Gerald (Bev), Jeff (Tara).
He is survived by his siblings. Sister, Toots, brothers, Terry & Wes, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He also leaves to mourn his grandchildren Casey (Curtis), Brianne, Brad (Ashley), Chrissy (Ryan), Jen, Teagan, Brandie (Jake). Great grandchildren, Lilly, Aliya, Kayley, Jayden, Riley, Aiden and Bryden.
Morley was born May 17, 1935 in Saskatchewan, moved to Vancouver and married Elly in 1956, and raised their 4 children.In 1998 they moved to Kimberley to join their family.
Morley was a very hard working man. He worked at the sawmill near Richmond, then later started his own contracting business until he retired. Even after retirement he was always building or fixing something. He enjoyed spending time with his family and having a beer with his buddies, telling jokes and stories at the Marysville Pub. Anyone who knew Morley always knew there was a funny joke to be told when he was around. He could remember every single joke he ever heard and loved to make people laugh.
