It is with deep sorrow that the family of Lester Green announces his passing on Monday, March 19, 2018 at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook at 71 years of age.

Lester was born on July 28, 1946 in Regina, Saskatchewan. He was a generous person and would help others whenever he could. Lester was very good with his hands and crocheted a lot of items, which he gave away. Lester was loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.

Left to mourn Lester’s passing are his sister Annie Burlingham, his sister Edna MacLean, his brother Rolland Green and his sister Leona Peterson. Lester also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews and his two sisters-in-law, Caron and Rose Green.

Lester was predeceased by his sister Irene, his brothers Albert, Roy, Delbert and Edward Green and by his parents Henry Green and Mary Cooper.

A memorial service for Lester will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook at 1:00 pm.
