Greg Walter Sakowicz
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Greg Walter Sakowicz.
Greg was a teacher here in Cranbrook and frequently volunteered at the Cranbrook Legion. Greg enjoyed the company of his great friends Frank Putnam, Reg and Colleen Selvage, Harold, Ben, Robbie, Pat, Debbie, and Al. Greg had a passion for the outdoors, often fishing or splitting firewood.
Greg’s family and friends also wish to extend a thank you to the staff of Kelowna and Cranbrook Regional Hospitals.
Greg is survived by his mother Ann Sakowicz, sister Lisa Stambulic (Michael) and nephews Thomas and Michael.
Greg was predeceased by his father Walter Sakowicz.
A Celebration of Life in Greg’s honour will be held June 9th from 4-6pm at the Cranbrook Legion.
Memorial donations in honour of Greg can be made to the Cranbrook Legion.
