Obituary of Jean Anne Webb
Jean Anne Webb
November 2, 1948 – July 3, 2022
Jean Anne Webb died suddenly on July 3rd, 2022 while out walking, in Parksville, with the love of her life Dennis. We were all saddened by her sudden and unexpected death. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Webb (yes, she married a Webb) their dog Kona, her brothers, and sisters-in-law: George (Butch) & Di, John & Jean, Ron & Mary, sister-in-law Pat, brothers-in-law Syd (Gail) and David. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Jean Anne was born November 2, 1948, in Cranbrook BC to proud parents Roy and Iola Webb. She graduated from Mount Baker Secondary in 1966. After completing high school she moved to Vancouver where she worked for BC Tel until she retired early, at age 50. Jean Anne and Dennis were fortunate to be able to enjoy more than 20 years of retirement together.
Seven years ago Jean Anne was diagnosed with Amyloidosis. Thanks to the care and treatment of Dr Jorge Denegri she was able to beat the prognosis of the disease and was showing no effects of this ailment, at the time of her sudden passing. We would like to thank Dr Denegri for his efforts which allowed us to share extra time with Jean Anne.
Jean Anne was a thoughtful and caring wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She is missed by all who knew her.
Jean Anne requested there be no formal service. Even though Jean Anne was born in the mountains, she spent most of her life near the ocean. She requested her ashes be spread on the ocean, which will happen at a later date.
