Margie Caldwell Biccum Holman

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Margie Caldwell Biccum Holman on March 24, 2025. Margie left this world just the way she wanted—with dignity and pride.

She is survived by her children, Corey (Kristen) and Terra (Doug); her grandchildren, Olivia (Brady), Hannah (Noah), Tristen (Audrey), and Taya (Conner); and her two beautiful great-granddaughters, Brinlee and Elsie.

Margie will also be dearly missed by her brother Tommy (Lynn), her sister Cathy, her nieces Lynzee (Colin) and Haylee (Dustin) and their children, her nephew Cody (Vickie), and her first husband and friend, Terry (Sandy). She leaves behind many friends in Kimberley and Cranbrook who will remember her fondly.

She was predeceased by her brother Danne, her parents Tom and Zory Caldwell, and her beloved husband, Bill Holman.

Margie and Bill enjoyed many years together traveling, fishing, and spending time with family. After becoming a widow, Margie returned to Kimberley, where she found joy in retirement. She spent her days hunting with her sister Cathy, taking trips to Bonners Ferry, playing bingo, trying her luck at the slots, and cherishing time with her parents during their final years.

Margie was witty, funny, and tough—with a love for her family that knew no bounds. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

We would like to thank the staff at East Kootenay Hospital, the nursing staff and to Dr McIvor for giving Mom a peaceful passing, and to a Special Care Aide, Susan- we thank you for your care and support.

In accordance with her wishes, Margie’s ashes will be spread in the ocean off Vancouver Island. As per her request, there will be no service.

Rest easy, Mom. We love you.
