Obituary of Timothy Alan Tebbe

June 25, 1965 ~ March 20, 2023 (age 57)

Timothy Alan Tebbe passed away peacefully in Calgary Foothills Hospital on March 20th, 2023. He fought a hard battle with Crohn’s and PCOS and then chronic infection in his right leg. Cancer snuck up on him and took him swiftly.

He is survived by his wife Cheryl, two sons, Tyrel (Keisha), and Timmy (Allyssa) and two grandchildren.

Tim was born on June 25, 1965, in Cranbrook, BC. He met the love of his life, Cheryl, at the Husky in Cranbrook in 1983. They married on June 20th, 1987, after a 4-year courtship.

After moving to Sparwood, BC in February of 1986, they adopted a rambunctious 4-year-old named Tyrel in 1997 and infant, Timmy, in 1998. Tim was the proudest and most patient father.

When Tim became a grandfather, his life was complete. He adored his family and tolerated all the animals Cheryl brought to their farm.

Tim started working at the Husky in Cranbrook as a dishwasher. He then worked at the goldmine in Lumberton, and delivered pizza one night a week. He paid more in gas then he earned!

In April 1985, Tim started work at Greenhills and stayed there until 2000 when he went truck driving for Dolfo. He returned to Greenhills for another five years before deciding to buy his own semi and continued to drive for the rest of his career.

Tim will be missed by his friends and family, particularly, Bob Botterill. The two had many adventures on Theatre Road in Cranbrook.
