Up next in The Arts Station Gallery is Set in Motion.

Set in Motion, Vanessa Croome’s inaugural art exhibit, is distinctive because of its altering forms. Her work is divided into three groups of paintings, abstractions, surroundings and emotions, each representing an element that has had a heavy influence on her painting, and how it has progressed.

The exhibit is also unique in how it is shown. Vanessa creates alongside her partner Jay, a DJ who simultaneously creates music. While taking in each piece, Jay’s music will be playing in the background and with some paintings sold, a copy of the unique mix devel- oped alongside them will be given to the new owner.

The show opens Thursday, March 31 in Fernie.
