Big rock show coming to Bud’s
Invermere and area residents are in for a rock n roll treat this Halloween.
Squeezing two dates into their mostly big city tour across Canada are Big Sugar and Wide Mouth Mason, two critically acclaimed and moderately successful Canadian acts.
The bands hit Invermere and Bud’s Bar and Grill on Sunday, Oct. 30 and then hit Fernie for a Halloween night show at the Northern Bar and Stage on Oct. 31.
While both bands have been quiet the last few years, they’re back and ready to show their stuff once again, with Wide Mouth Mason touring to showcase their latest release No Bad Days and Big Sugar showcasing their most recent release, Revolution Per Minute.
Soul power trio Wide Mouth Mason will be making their second appearance in Invermere, while crunchy, rumbling Big Sugar will be making their first stop, at least as a performing act.
Tickets to Wide Mouth Mason and Big Sugar are now available at The Book Bar and Bud’s.
“It’s so cool to see they are liking coming to our little ole town! Oh yes, this is going to be a Halloween party! So get your costume on everybody!” stated event organizer Debbie Fenton on her Facebook page.
Showtime begins at 8 p.m. Oct. 30.
Don’t hesitate to get your tickets because this formidable duo of acts, whose sounds mesh perfectly as a touring pair, are sure to sell out quickly.
