Book Bike is now doing its rounds
The Fernie Book Bike has arrived and is starting its journey throughout the streets of Fernie.
We are thrilled to have it here. The book bike comes filled with books and magazines to sign out, as well as beach reads and paperbacks to purchase by donation. Our summer student Jayden will be making sure you find a book you like, and providing short story times along her route.
At this time we are still fundraising for a Book Bike shed. In the meantime, we are on the lookout for a temporary summer home where the bike can be stored safely, away form the elements each night, near to the library.
If you have a place in mind please do let us know!
