Brody’s Crop Circles & Tractor Beams Tour rolls in Feb. 18
Dean Brody’s Crop Circles & Tractor Beams Tour is rolling into Cranbrook’s Western Financial Place on Tuesday, Feb. 18.
At the end of 2013, Dean Brody, raised in Jaffray, became the first male Canadian artist to earn two number one songs on Country radio, in BDS and Mediabase history.
Brody’s 2012 anthem, Canadian Girls, and his latest smash Bounty (feat. Linda Ortega) were both number one Most Added (All Formats) upon release, No. 1 selling Country singles at iTunes Canada, and spent multiple weeks at No. 1 on CMT Canada’s Top 20 Countdown.
Named 2013’s Most Played Canadian Artist at Country radio for the third consecutive year, Brody released his fourth album Crop Circles on November 5, debuting at number one on the iTunes Canada Country Album chart and No. 3 on the Canadian Country Album chart (Nielsen Soundscan).
As the reigning CCMA Male Artist of the Year, the seven-time CCMA Award winner and two-time JUNO Award nominee has garnered ample acclaim for his songwriting from both audiences and peers, and has amassed considerable mainstream media attention.
His most recent features include the title of Hello! Canada’s 50 Most Beautiful Canadians, appearances on George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, Canada AM (CTV), Global TV’s Entertainment Tonight Canada and CTV’s eTalk.
Cassadee Pope is joining Brody on the Crop Circles & Tractor Beams Tour.
Showcasing soaring vocals and fresh sounds, Cassadee Pope’s Frame By Frame debuted in the upper echelon on the Billboard charts – number one Top Country Albums and Top 10 all-genre Top Albums.
Cassadee is one of only two solo women in the past five years to top the Country chart with a debut release. Selling over two million tracks to date, the petite powerhouse also made an impressive ascent to the No. 1 spot on the iTunes Country charts with her Republic Nashville debut album and GOLD-certified lead single Wasting All These Tears, which has sold nearly 900,000 downloads and is on the cusp of Top 10 at Country radio. Additionally, the accompanying music video has garnered over seven million views.
High-profile outlets Rolling Stone, The Hollywood Reporter and American Songwriter premiered songs leading up to the release, which was produced by Dann Huff with Nathan Chapman, Max Martin and Shellback contributing to select tracks.
The singer/songwriter stole the national spotlight when she won The Voice (season three) as part of Team Blake (Shelton) and dominated the No. 1 spot on iTunes All-Genre chart with three of her performances.
Since, the Florida native has returned twice, debuting Wasting All These Tears, and I Wish I Could Break Your Heart. She received her first-ever award nomination for FOX’s American Country Awards, has been featured as one of CMT’s Next Women Of Country.
