Dean Brody coming home for February show
Fresh off being re-crowned as Male Artist of the Year at the 2013 Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Awards, Jaffray’s Dean Brody is bringing his Crop Circles tour to Cranbrook Feb. 18.
Brody was also Male Artist of the Year last year.
During the CCMA Awards, Brody introduced Canada to his brand new single ‘Bounty’ through a live performance with special guest vocalist Lindi Ortega.
On November 5, he is releasing Crop Circles, his highly anticipated fourth studio album.
His national headlining tour Crop Circles & Tractor Beams begins Oct. 25 in Windsor, Ont., with American singer-songwriter and Season 3 winner of The Voice, Cassadee Pope, on tour as opening support.
Bounty is currently No. 4 on the Canadian iTunes Country chart. The single features special guest vocalist Lindi Ortega and shows Brody’s ability as a singer-songwriter to push the boundaries of traditional country music to the masses.
As the reigning CCMA Male Artist of the Year, Brody has won seven CCMA Awards including back-to-back wins for Album of the Year (Trail In Life and Dirt) and now, Male Artist of the Year (2012 and 2013).
His third album Dirt reached Gold sales in Canada and he has charted 11 Top 10 singles including the Gold-selling No.1 hit ‘Canadian Girls’ and Gold certified ‘It’s Friday’ featuring Great Big Sea.
In 2011 and 2012, he was named the No. 1 Most Played Canadian Country Artist on radio, having received over a quarter of a million plays to date and has earned two JUNO Award nominations for Country Album of the Year.
Dean Brody will be playing Cranbrook’s Western Financial Place on Feb. 18 (2014).
