Fairmont Hot Springs Resort is hosting a new festival for the Columbia Valley Feb. 26 with the East Kootenay Distillery Festival.

And things keep rolling Saturday, Feb. 27 with the Fire & Ice Dinner and Dance.

The first East Kootenay Distillery Night will feature nine of B.C.’s best distilleries, 28 spirits to taste, gourmet hors d’oeuvres and art displays by local artists from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26. There will be an after party in Bear’s Paw Bar & Grill with live music by Smokin’ Ray & The Detectors playing from 8 p.m.-12 a.m.

The Fire & Ice Dinner and Dance offers a delicious buffet, live music by Billy Kulyk & Friends and time to dance the night away from 6 p.m.-12 a.m. on February 27.

There is also going to be plenty of Fire & Ice activities happening at the ski hill on Saturday, February 27, including an ice carving demonstration, campfire s’mores, music by DJ WiL C, a BBQ on the deck and more.
