Graham Fowler showing at The Arts Station

graham fowler 2Graham Fowler is a Fernie based visual artist working in watercolor and acrylics. His work reflects his introspective personality and basic need for hands-on spontaneous creativity.

It is simply a reaction to the last brush stroke. There is no plan; it is a journey of creative instinct. He loves the completeness of the experience of painting. There is no sharing, no division of labor, no complex relationships. Just the white canvas, and the childlike unity of self with the task at hand. He does, however, have a strong desire to show his work and to share the creative process with others.

Fowler’s work is a complete and professional package as he strives to attend to every detail from the building of the frames and stretching of the canvas right through to the signature and hanging. You can expect to be inspired through his creative use of colour and textures and energetic synergy of landscape and abstract elements.

Please join Graham at his opening reception on Thursday, January 29 at 7 p.m. for refreshments at The Arts Station.

The exhibit continues until Monday, March 23.
