Are you ready to rock ‘n’ roll Kimberley?

The city’s biggest party of the year launches this evening (Friday, July 18) and runs until Sunday, July 20.

Presented by the Kimberley Chamber of Commerce, JulyFest brings thousands of tourists and locals together for three days of summer fun and sports, including 200 plus teams vying for the Canadian bocce Championships.

With live music, beverage gardens, local vendors and the distinguished Kimberley cuisine, the bocce area is a staple for festival-goers.

Julyfest is also home to one of the biggest soccer tournaments in North America, an extreme downhill longboard race, the Kimberley Homecoming Parade (10:30 a.m. on Saturday morning), a Kids’ Festival and a Saturday night Dance Party in the Kimberley Civic Centre with this year’s live entertainment hosted by two hot bands – Wide Mouth Mason and Big Sugar (pictured above).
