Summer Kickoff Party June 21
The Canadian Cancer Society and Kootenay Savings are teaming up to present the Summer Kickoff Party on Saturday, June 21 at the Invermere Community Hall.
The evening will feature a dinner, dance and silent auction, with the doors opening at 5:30 p.m.
Dinner is being catered by Anne Riches Catering and desserts are being lovingly prepared by the ladies of the Columbia Valley Unit of the Canadian Cancer Society.
A host of wonderful items, services and gift certificates have been generously donated by businesses and individuals throughout the valley for the silent and live auction, which will be conducted by Tex Lortscher.
Wil C Productions is providing the tunes for the dance.
Funds raised go toward the Canadian Cancer Society. Tickets are $45 a person or $80 a couple and are available at The Book Bar in downtown Invermere.
