Now that the hot days of summer have flown by, it is time to think about enjoying another season of interesting and entertaining Sunrise Rotary films.

Our fall movie series begins on October 4, 7 p.m. at the Columbia Theatre.

We would like to thank Lotus Book for their continued support, as tickets are now available at Lotus. The tickets are the same price as last year – $10 if purchased in advance and $12 at the door.

To begin our series, we are bringing in a French film (subtitles) – The Intouchables.

The movie is reported to be, “An irreverent, uplifting comedy about friendship, trust and human possibility. The Intouchables has broken box office records in its native France and across Europe.  Based on a true story of a friendship between a handicap millionaire (Francois Cluzet) and his street smart ex-con (Omar Sy). The Intouchables depicts an unlikely camaraderie rooted in honesty and humour between two individuals who, on the surface, would seem to have nothing in common.”
