Vegan Taxidermy is up next in The Arts Station Gallery in Fernie.

Rebecca Vaughan first fell in love with felt in Victoria in 2008. She started off doing basic felted scarves and hats but quickly learned that her forte was creating big 3D felted tapestries.

Rebecca uses wet and needle felting techniques as well as a variety of sheep, yak and goat wool.

Her inspiration for her pieces come from nature and her zany personality. Every piece that she does is unique and one of a kind.

The opening reception is Thursday, August 26 at 7 p.m. The exhibit continues until Tuesday, September 29.
