The Canadian Home Builders Association Rocky Mountain (CHBA) Speaker Series Luncheons are back in action for 2013, with the next noon-hour gathering set for Wednesday, Jan. 23 at the Heritage Inn in Cranbrook.

This month’s guest speaker will be Mike Boven from BDO, who will share his insights on the transition from HST and how to prepare your business.

Mr. Boven is the Commodity Tax Partner for the Western Canada Region dealing exclusively in HST, GST and PST. He joined BDO in 1991 and offers 20 years of experience in federal and provincial sales tax matters. He is a frequent speaker to business and industry groups on commodity tax issues.
