Time management workshops coming to region

Do you spend your day in a frenzy of activity and then wonder how you haven’t accomplished what you intended to?

Do your days fly by in a churn of emails, technical support or customer enquiries?

Small business owners often find themselves wearing a number of hats in the course of the day, including human resources, accounting, IT and sales, with the result that some things never seem to move from the to-do list.

While you can’t do anything about the number of hours in the day, you can become more effective, accomplish more, reduce your stress and focus on what really matters by learning some simple techniques to become more organized and productive.

TimeCreep PosterJoin Kootenay Rockies Innovation Council (KRIC) and Janice Otremba, professional trainer and coach, for an interactive workshop where you’ll learn proven strategies to take control and focus your attention and energy where they will produce dramatic – even outrageous – results.

Janice is an entertaining and high energy speaker who provides practical, hands-on workshops that give participants new tools to get control of their time.

Alannah Wheeler, a participant in one of Janice’s workshops said, “OMG! They should teach this stuff to us in school! ‘Time blocking and opening and closing my office’ has made a huge difference! We run a busy practice and I no longer get sucked into the email vortex or let interruptions run my day!”

Christopher Flett, CEO Think Tank Communications Inc., Now Flett Ventures said, “Janice has a knack for custom-fitting practical applications to theoretical principals. This is very uncommon in today’s business world… The tools that she provided me were nothing less than life-altering.”

Time management isn’t just about getting things done. It’s about getting the right things done.

Join us for this workshop from 1-5 p.m. on March 12 in Golden, or March 13 in Cranbrook to learn a set of principles, practices, tools and systems that can help you create time to focus on priorities, accomplish your goals, make better decisions and work more efficiently.

The cost of this workshop is highly subsidized by our sponsors NRC-IRAP, BCIC and Fortis.  Just $40 could change your life!  Or at least make each day a little easier and more productive.
