Bedroom Curly Critters aim to light a $5,000 Star

What do Brambles the brown bear, Bentley the polar bear, Baxter the black bear, Rascal the racoon, Monty the moose, Gracie the Goat and Betty the beaver all have in common?  A desire to find a loving home and be adopted for $20 with their rescue funds given to the Bedroom Furniture Galleries.

In doing so the Bedroom in turn will donate proceeds to East Kootenay Foundation for Health’s Starlite Campaign to light a $5,000 star atop the hospital as well as building the funds to purchase a digital stereotactic mammography unit for the regional hospital.

This ‘FUN’ fundraiser will kick off at the upcoming November 4 – Kootenay ICE home game when it is Bedroom Furniture Galleries’ night.  The cute and cuddly animals will be available for purchase ($20) prior to the start of the game at the main entrance and after the game at Coyote Jack’s Restaurant when ICE Captain Drew Czerwonka and assistants Max Reinhart and Jesse Ismond will also be on hand to autograph your favourite critter.

The Bedroom Furniture Galleries will be selling bears in the store from now until Christmas.  However there are two extra special nights to attend.  On Friday November 25, the night of the Santa Claus parade, stop into the bedroom and purchase a starlight critter and get a free professional holiday photograph with ‘Benny the Bedroom Bear.’ And don’t miss the annual Ladies’ Night on Thursday December 1 where you will receive a $35 gift card to The Bedroom with every bear purchased.
