Seventh Annual Volunteer appreciation and awards gala

Volunteer Kootenays, a service of Canadian Mental Health Association for the Kootenays, is hosting the seventh Annual Volunteer Appreciation & Awards Gala, Thursday, April 19 at St Eugene Golf Resort Casino Pavilion.  Nominations are now being accepted.

Do you know a person or a group of people who deserve to be recognized for their efforts?  Nominate them for an award today! Awards are offered in four categories:  Family, Youth, Group and Individual Volunteer of the Year, and nominations are being accepted until March 31st.  Forms and criteria for nomination are available for download at www.kootenays.cmha.bc.ca or for pick up at 39 13th Ave S Cranbrook BC V1C 2V4.

This is a great opportunity for any organization or volunteer program to recognize their volunteers at a community event.  Local businesses can get involved by sponsoring a non-profit partner, sponsoring a table, purchasing individual tickets or by donating cash or door prizes.

CMHA for the Kootenays (CMHA-K) is a multi-service, charitable, non-profit organization delivering services throughout the Kootenays.  We are successful in the delivery of our many programs and services because of the huge support we get from individuals, businesses, and communities. Volunteer Kootenays, a CMHA-K program, provides referrals and volunteer management services to the entire non-profit community and business sector.
